habitat native landscapes

We design and build modern gardens that showcase Australian native ecology and create habitat for humans and wild things. We specialise in indigenous plant selections of the Sydney region, coupled with natural and built elements

plant selection

We use local plants because they respond best to the geology and climate, and create genuine habitat and food sources for local animals. We choose complex plant selections which mirror local bushland. This can include feature trees and showy flowering shrubs, but we specialise and love working with groundcovers, grasses and water plants.

material choice

We prefer to use reclaimed landscaping materials where possible.Reclaimed sandstone blocks, rusted steel, brick rubble, terracotta pipes and salvaged logs are all elements of the Australian landscape that we choose. We partner with a reclaimed hardwood timber company in Marrickville to source timber for hardscaping. These choices reduce our footprint as a business and keep costs down for the client.

who we are

She works with councils and private companies to restore bushland back to healthy, vibrant ecosystems. They bring together years of experience working with Australian plants and understanding local soil, water and ecological systems.
